Which is to say, ALICE NINE. have changed their name and reinvented themselves. A lot.

You could say they have nine lives.

Though they spent 10 years under the care of the PSC management label, rising in recognition and even playing a solo show at Budoukan, in late 2014 they made the decision to leave both PSC and their record label, and go fully independent. They felt the best way to continue growing as a band was to take risks again. In September of 2023 they again made a momentous decision: they played a final performance together and put an indeterminate freeze on their band activities so that they could each grow as individuals and each pursue things that they were interested in on their own. The band itself is made up of five musicians, and their lineup has never changed since the beginning.
