This single was only released as a limited edition, and only 5000 copies of the single were ever printed.
Each copy of the single came with one random alternate cover (6 types) and one random trading card (8 types).
The second track on the single is actually a cover of a GIVUSS song, which was the band that Shou and Tora had been a part of before the formation of ALICE NINE.
Both songs on the single were later re-released on the mini-album 華想夢想紙 (kasou musou shi) in November 2005.
The title track was then rearranged and rerecorded in 2011 for release on the regular edition of their single 虹の雪 (niji no yuki).

A flyer announcing the impending release of yami ni chiru sakura, the release of yuri wa aoku saite which would follow, and recently-released single gin no tsuki kuroi hoshi. It also gives details about an extensive set of instore appearances to coincide with the last release in the series, along with an announcement of their appearance in the fest Tribal Arivall vol 92, and most notably, their upcoming 7-stop nationwide tour with fellow band Ayabie in June of that year. The second flyer, which appeared on the back of Cure vol, 21 announces more tour dates for after the release of the last single in the series: a second Tribal Arivall fest (vol. 93) that they were set to appear in, along with a 7-stop Tribal Arivall tour that they would be embarking on that summer with fellow PSC bands Kra and bis.
